Welcome to Eldon House
Eldon
House is an historic site in downtown London that has been preserved and
maintained since 1960 when it was donated to the City of London. It was home to four
generations of the Harris family, and is an excellent example of Georgian and
Regency architectural styles. Its gardens are considered one of the most
beautiful in the city.
Message from Brian Meehan, Executive Director of Museum London
For more than 15 years, Museum London has been privileged to operate and
maintain Eldon House on behalf of the City of London. As an historic site, Eldon
House complements the material culture collection of Museum London, which
records and preserves the history of urban development in the city of London. We
hope you enjoy your visit to Eldon House.
