Admission

Admission to Eldon House is by donation with a suggested amount of $5.00-$10.00 a person, except for special events. Special event information can be found here: https://eldonhouse.ca/events/.

Transportation

Eldon House is located in the heart of London, ON. There are several ways to reach Eldon House including walking, biking, busing, or by car.

Eldon House is along the Thames Valley Parkway and is accessible from Harris Park and Ridout Street. Bike paths and walking trail can be found on the City website with this interactive map: Bike Routes and Walking Trails (arcgis.com)

Additionally, Eldon House is located near the bus terminus on Queen Ave and Ridout Street North. Information on bus routes is available on the London Transit Commission website: https://www.londontransit.ca/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/LT_SystemMap_Sept2019_Final_Web.pdf.

Parking

Eldon House is not able to provide parking on site. Parking is available at several municipal lots located nearby accessible off Queen’s Avenue and Fullarton Avenue.

Additional metered parking spaces are available on Ridout, Fullarton and Dufferin streets nearby.

The City of London has an initiative with the Honk app which allows 2-hour free parking while using the app. Type in the lot or street parking identification as well as the code CORE to receive two-hour free parking. Museum Rules

Non-commercial photography is allowed in Eldon House. No flash photography.

Large backpacks are not allowed in Eldon House. A Historical Interpreter will provide storage for large backpacks & belongings.

Snacks are permitted in our Interpretive Centre however no food or drink will be permitted in Eldon House. Eldon House does not have a café or restaurant on site. The Eldon House Summer Tea Program runs through the months of July-August.

Eldon House asks all visitors to abide by our Respectful Behaviour Policy. (Can we link to a downloadable page) Failure to comply will result in patrons being asked to leave the premises and may result in a ban to the site and future events.
